Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1

Arrival in Tanzania | Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Moshi. Check in to your hotel and prepare for the trek.

Day 2

Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Begin the Kilimanjaro trek through the rainforest from Machame Gate to Machame Camp.

Day 3

Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Continue through the moorland zone towards Shira Camp while enjoying views of the Shira Plateau.

Day 4

Shira Camp to Barranco Camp
Trek towards Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp. This day also supports altitude acclimatisation.

Day 5

Barranco to Karanga Camp
Climb the famous Barranco Wall and continue towards Karanga Camp through the alpine desert landscape.

Day 6

Karanga to Barafu Camp
Trek towards Barafu Camp, the final base camp before the summit attempt. Rest and prepare for the summit climb.

Day 7

Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak
Begin the summit attempt towards Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro. After reaching the summit, descend towards Millennium Camp.

Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate
Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. Celebrate the completion of your trek before transferring to your hotel in Moshi.

After breakfast, transfer from Moshi to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.

Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% cancellation charges
Cancellation requests must be made in writing. The cancellation policy mentioned in the final booking quote will override this policy. Flight cancellation charges depend on the fare rules booked. Credit card convenience fees are non-refundable.
No refunds will be provided for unused services, tour curtailment, or no-shows. Any refund, if applicable, will be processed only after receiving funds from suppliers/hotels.
