Booking Confirmation
A booking shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the completed booking form, acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, and payment of the applicable deposit or advance amount.
Upon confirmation, a contractual agreement shall exist between the traveler and Exciting Tales.
By making a booking, the lead traveler confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all travelers included in the reservation.
Payment Policy
To secure and confirm a booking, an advance payment of up to 50% of the total tour cost may be required.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified.
Certain services, including peak season departures, luxury cruises, special events, limited inventory accommodations, and airline bookings, may require full payment at the time of confirmation.
Failure to complete payments within the stipulated timelines may result in cancellation of services without prior notice.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Refund eligibility shall depend upon the cancellation policies of airlines, hotels, cruise operators, transport providers, and other third-party suppliers involved in the itinerary.
Any applicable cancellation charges, supplier penalties, processing fees, visa fees, or non-refundable components will be deducted from the refund amount.
Refund timelines may vary depending on supplier processing schedules.
Passport, Visa & Travel Documentation
All travelers are solely responsible for ensuring possession of valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination certificates, travel authorizations, and any other documentation required by destination countries.
Visa assistance provided by Exciting Tales is advisory in nature and does not guarantee visa approval.
Any loss arising from visa rejection, delayed approval, incorrect documentation, or immigration decisions shall not be the responsibility of Exciting Tales.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, travel disruptions, baggage loss, personal liability, and unforeseen circumstances.
Travel insurance costs are not included unless specifically mentioned in the itinerary.
Pricing & Surcharges
All quoted prices are subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation.
Exciting Tales reserves the right to revise prices due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, fuel surcharges, airline costs, government taxes, visa fees, supplier charges, or other factors beyond our control.
Any increase imposed by suppliers after booking confirmation may be passed on to the traveler.
Changes to Itinerary
While every effort is made to operate itineraries as planned, Exciting Tales reserves the right to modify, substitute, amend, postpone, or cancel any portion of the itinerary due to operational requirements, safety concerns, weather conditions, government regulations, supplier changes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Alternative arrangements of similar value will be offered wherever possible.
Customer Responsibilities
Travelers are responsible for:
• Providing accurate personal information and travel documents.
• Arriving on time for flights, transfers, excursions, and scheduled activities.
• Complying with local laws, customs, and regulations of visited destinations.
• Respecting fellow travelers, accommodation providers, and local communities.
Any additional costs arising from a traveler's actions, delays, negligence, misconduct, or non-compliance shall be borne solely by the traveler.
Force Majeure
Exciting Tales shall not be liable for any delay, alteration, cancellation, loss, injury, inconvenience, or additional expense arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, pandemics, government restrictions, political unrest, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, strikes, airline disruptions, extreme weather conditions, or transportation failures.
Limitation of Liability
Exciting Tales acts solely as an intermediary between travelers and independent suppliers including airlines, hotels, cruise operators, transport providers, guides, activity providers, and other service vendors.
We do not own, operate, or control these third-party services and therefore cannot accept liability for any acts, omissions, deficiencies, delays, injuries, losses, damages, cancellations, or service failures caused by such providers.
Our liability, where applicable, shall be limited to the amount paid directly to Exciting Tales for the affected service.
Complaints & Claims
Should any issue arise during travel, travelers are requested to immediately notify the relevant supplier and the Exciting Tales support team to allow reasonable opportunity for resolution.
Any formal complaint must be submitted in writing within 28 days of completion of travel.
Failure to provide timely notification may affect our ability to investigate and resolve the matter.
Privacy & Data Protection
Exciting Tales respects your privacy and handles personal information responsibly.
Information provided during the booking process may be shared only with relevant travel suppliers, visa authorities, insurance providers, or government agencies when necessary for travel arrangements.
Personal information will never be sold to third parties.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising in connection with services provided by Exciting Tales shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
By booking with Exciting Tales, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
